Mith Samlanh seeks a Business Teacher

MITH SAMLANH is a leading local NGO working with street children, their families and their community.

About the position
We are recruiting a Cambodian candidate for a Business Teacher who will be responsible for delivering the content of a Business course to the students in a 8 week block, totalling about 300 hours. The course includes activities and arranged field visits to Phnom Penh businesses that are designed to practically demonstrate the business principles detailed in the course. The Business Teacher is responsible for input in to the final content of the course, tailoring the course content throughout the 8-week delivery, and for a final evaluation of the content upon completion of each 8 week course.

We are seeking energetic and committed applicants with:
• an ability to quickly understand the topics of the curriculum and to effectively teach these topics to a class of students;
• an energetic and appealing personality that will facilitate active student participation in practical group activities;
• a creative and enthusiastic approach to lessons and applicants who are comfortable presenting information in a creative, interesting and effective manner;
• personal integrity and honesty;
• strong in spoken English (highly desirable);
• a background in Business or University qualifications in Business (desirable);
• teaching experience (preferable but not essential); and
• a dedication to work with former street children.
