Child Rights
Objectives
To promote the implementation of all aspects of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in Cambodia and protect and support children who have been subjected to abusive situations.

Activities
This project supports children to be directly involved in all parts of the life of the organization, in the design of the projects and in the organization of their own centers. It includes children electing their Representative to attend meetings with management and bring the voice of children, various children newsletters, suggestion boxes, votes regarding center rules and daily running of centers.
A special team works to prevent child abuse through a series of initiatives:
- a “safe hotel” project aims at preventing child prostitution in hotels
- peer education is organized among street children to teach each other about the risks linked to sex work
- peer education among moto-taxi drivers aiming at preventing them from offering children for sex to their clients
- peer education among tourists to promote child safety in Cambodia
Children who are in abusive situations, including sexual and physical violence, are rescued and the cases are referred to authorities for investigation.
Children who have been in abusive situations are supported at the Camp Sabay-Sabay rehabilitation center before being integrated into the regular programs.
