Objective

Link with the children and provide them with services allowing them to leave the streets or get involved in non-harmful income generating activities.

Activities

team working directly in the streets, day and night, provides:

• basic health care,
• street education, including a mobile library that encourages children to read and attend school,
• sports and games
• life skills information and awareness: HIV/AIDS prevention, substance misuse prevention, Child Rights and child protection information.

Children on the streets are taught to protect themselves and explore safe income generating activities.

Alternatives and options to street life are explored with the children and life plans are designed supporting children to move away from street life.
