Transitional Home
Objective
To provide children with a safe shelter for the duration of their studies and efforts towards their sustainable reintegration.

Activities
A center is providing shelter in a home-like atmosphere for up to 280 former street children for the duration of their training and studies leading to their reintegration.
Children stay at the center in the evenings and overnight and are provided with meals, hygiene facilities, health care, counseling and support as well as various recreational activities. Children are directly involved in the life of the center and participate fully in the daily organization of the activities.
During the day time, they attend training and schooling at
Friends or in partner organization or directly in the public schools.
